Hell's Kitchen is the musical story of an era in New York history that will never come again. It takes place in the early 1960's, in a neighborhood both feared and respected by those who stepped within it's borders.

ACT ONE

Young Danny Vincente rules the streets of Hell's Kitchen. Not through violence and bloodshed, but through brains, street smarts and talent. He dreams of escaping what he perceives as invisible walls that are choking him. He longs to sing with the beautiful voice he inherited from his mother Beatrice, herself once a Broadway ingenue. He wants to see the world he has read about in the books he uses to escape his poor childhood.

This is his story. Along with his friends, family and acquaintances that are forever compromised by the honor and loyalty of Hell's Kitchen.

Danny takes us through doowop on street corners, the scams that bring home money for food, the rooftops where he and his friends find sanctuary, and the death of his longtime friend that changes his life forever.

Featured songs in ACT ONE:

Welcome To Hell's Kitchen, Dancing On Air, High Life, Poor Man's Dilemma, We All Come Out To Play, What A Time It Was, This Is Our Neighborhood, A Perfect Ten, It Shoulda Been Me and Forgiveness.

ACT TWO

It is two years later, and the second act opens in the underbelly of old 42nd Street. It is a world of mobsters, strippers and bookies. Danny has been unable to get over the pain of his friend's death. He has vengeance on his mind as he has resorted to running numbers for Frankie "Da Nose" Cappellano, the big mobster who has a fondness for anyone who sings like Caruso. A young stripper helps Danny back to the stage where he is discovered by a big time talent manager. Just as Danny is finding success with the help of the manager, He reconnects with his childhood sweetheart. But his happiness is short lived. Once again the loyalty of his old Hell's Kitchen life pulls him back into the world of violence he thought was forever gone. The honor of the streets that Danny holds so dear, almost brings his life to an end. But the honor and loyalty of those who love him, saves him in the end, as he sees the truth of his journey.

Just 2 Avenues From Broadway (Big tap number), Well Never Be Society's Little Darlings, Maybe I Like This Kid, Flying, I Never Thought I'd See You Again, This Is My Room and the reprise of Welcome To Hell's Kitchen.
